Packing Pointers
Casual attire is acceptable at attractions, dinner theaters and most restaurants. Bring comfortable walking shoes, hats, visors, sunglasses, jacket and lightweight raincoat. Appliances run on 110/115 volt, 60 cycle, bring adapter if needed.

Rules of the Road
Please keep in mind Florida Law requirements and restrictions:

  • Drivers must carry a valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance.
  • All passengers must wear a seat belt.
  • Children five and under must be in a federally approved restraint device/child seat in the back seat.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is illegal. (You must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.)
  • Car headlights must be turned on at dusk; in the rain, headlights must be turned on day or night.

Safety Tips

  • Always lock car doors and park in well-lighted areas; keep valuables out of sight or locked in the trunk.
  • Invest in traveler's checks; store cash, jewelry and credit cards in a safe place; inquire about hotel safes.
  • Contact hotel Guest Services or Security in the event of lost or stolen items.
  • All attractions and most public buildings are wheelchair accessible. Attractions and accommodation listings indicate ADA compliance.
